Who we are

This website is operated by Springhouse Water Club, a residential water treatment company based in Ballston Spa, New York. Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact page.

Information you give us

The only information this site collects from you is what you type into our two forms. The Contact Us form asks for your name, phone number, email address and your message. The Request an In-Home Water Test form asks for your name, phone number, email address, home address (so we can confirm you are in our service area and plan the visit), your water source, what you have noticed about your water, a preferred time for the visit, and anything else you want to tell us. Both forms include optional text-message consent checkboxes. Checking them is never required to request a visit or to receive service; see text-message terms for exactly what each box means. We ask for the minimum needed to reply and arrange a visit.

If you book a visit through our online calendar, we also collect the appointment date and time you choose and your home address so we know where to go.

We use that information to respond to your request, schedule and carry out the assessment, prepare a quote, and provide the services you ask for. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone except the service providers described below. We never sell or share your phone number or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing.

How form submissions are delivered

Our forms are provided by and submissions are delivered to our customer-relationship system, GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), a third-party software provider acting on our behalf. The form itself is loaded from a Media Pillars domain (api.mediapillars.com) operated by our marketing agency. The provider processes the data under its own privacy terms and security practices.

Information collected automatically

This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. Analytics data is aggregated and does not include the contents of the request form. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking the analytics script. Our web host also keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting, as hosts generally do. We do not run advertising scripts.

The site is served over HTTPS. Fonts and images are hosted on our own server. Apart from Google Analytics, the site does not load third-party scripts. The two forms and the booking calendar are embedded from api.mediapillars.com, as described above; loading those pages sends your browser's standard request information (IP address, browser type) to that server.

Cookies and local storage

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Children

This site is intended for adult homeowners and tenants and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us through the contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you communicate with us by phone or email outside this site, those communications are handled in the ordinary course of business.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and appointment records for as long as you are a customer or prospective customer and for a reasonable period afterward for warranty, service-history and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see above); we will honor the request except where we are required to keep a record.

Use of this website and of our forms, calendar and messages is also governed by our Terms of Service.

Changes

If we change how this site collects or uses information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Items that depend on business decisions not yet finalized, such as the exact retention period for inquiries, will be added once those decisions are made rather than guessed at here.
