Accessibility statement

We want every homeowner to be able to read this site and request a water test, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

Our standard

This website was built with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as the design and testing target. We have not commissioned a third-party audit and we do not claim certified conformance. We test with automated tools and by hand, and we fix what we find.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with one main heading per page, landmark regions, and a skip link to the main content.
  • Keyboard operation for the navigation menus, disclosure sections, comparison-table filters, and the request form, with visible focus indicators.
  • Text and interface colors checked for contrast against WCAG AA; body text is navy on cream, never gold on cream.
  • Text alternatives for images and diagrams, and accessible names for logos and controls.
  • Form fields with visible labels, clear marking of optional fields, error messages linked to the field, and an error summary announced to screen readers.
  • Content that reflows at 200% zoom and on narrow screens without horizontal scrolling; tables scroll within their own container.
  • No motion that cannot be stopped: the homepage graphic is still when your system asks for reduced motion, and no content depends on it.
  • All content is available without JavaScript.

Known limitations

  • The comparison tables are wide; on small screens they scroll sideways within a frame. The first column stays fixed to keep row labels visible.
  • The optional 3D graphic on the homepage is decorative and is hidden from assistive technology; a described static illustration is provided instead.
  • Manufacturer brochures, when added, are PDF documents produced by the manufacturer and may not be fully accessible. Ask us and we will provide the information in another form.

Tell us about a problem

If anything on this site is difficult to use, please tell us through the contact page and describe the page and what went wrong. We will respond, and we will fix the problem where we can. If you cannot use the form, the other contact options on that page will be published as soon as our business phone and email are set up.
